We?re urgently recruiting for A&E doctors to work in both Chorley and Preston in a variety of long-term (6 – 12 month) and short-term (ad-hoc) roles with a choice of shift patterns at great pay-rates. On-site accommodation is available at Preston with a regular free shuttle bus to Chorley, if required. Both Chorley and South Ribble Hospital and Royal Preston Hospital provide a full range of district general hospital services, including critical care, emergency department, general medicine, general surgery and anaesthetics, with the latter acting as the major trauma centre for Lancashire and South Cumbria. Both hospitals house outpatient suites, operating theatre complexes, and education facilities. Preston is the larger of the two units, boasting around 700 beds to Chorley?s 220. Applicants for these roles must note that contact with COVID-19 patients is possible, however, access to the correct personal protective equipment is available. Doctors will also have access to COVID-19 testing should it be required.
